Development of High Current Cyclotron for ADSS

This project is aimed to develop a 10 MeV, 5mA cyclotron. It will play an important role in ADSS demonstration facility. Cyclotron is an excellent option for delivering high power high current beam. However, before reaching the prototype stage of a driver accelerator for ADSS plant, much R & D works related with injection, extraction and handling of high current beam are needed to be carried out using proton beam of lower energy where the space charge dominates.
