Thallium-201 radioisotope has been successfully produced on 25/01/2021, for the first time in India at VECC Medical Cyclotron Facility by BRIT from Thallium-203 target irradiated with 28 MeV, 50uA proton beam. 

A major milestone of K500 Superconducting Cyclotron has been successfully achieved by accelerating and extracting out first harmonic Nitrogen4+ beam (252 MeV) from the machine

Gallium-68 isotope has been successfully produced from solid target of Zinc-68, in Medical Cyclotron facility at Chakgaria campus of VECC, Kolkata, on August 14, 2020.. 

Sulphur10+ beam has been successfully accelerated and extracted from K130 Cyclotron at VECC, for the first time on 17th June, 2020 

Gallium-67-citrate has been successfully produced from solid target of Zinc-68, in Medical Cyclotron Facility at Chakgaria, Kolkata. 

Nitrogen 2+ beam successfully extracted from VECC K500 Superconducting Cyclotron
